Walter Benjamin wrote that in Paris in the early 19th century, strollers, “Flaneurs”, took turtles in the passages to counter the progressive acceleration. My turtle enters the Füssli Hall of the Kunstmuseum Basel. On its way, as a symbol of slowness, it places itself in a frame of reference of different speeds for visitors, exhibits and space.
